Is GoWish free, and does it have ads or in-app purchases?

The app is free to download. Based on the store listing, it contains no ads and offers no in-app purchases, so there are no extra costs to plan for within the app itself.

Free apps are usually funded in other ways, so it is sensible to check the listing for any new details before you install.

The current version is 9.2.3, last updated on 2026-10-23. According to the developer, this release mainly fixes minor bugs and refines the overall experience.

If you already use the app, updating through Google Play is the simplest way to get these fixes.

Requirements and download details

GoWish requires Android 7.0 or later. If your phone runs an older version of Android, the app may not install or may not work as intended.

Check the Google Play listing for the current download size and device compatibility before installing, since these can change between versions.

Ratings and what users think

Reviews on store pages often describe specific problems or wishes, which can help you decide whether the app fits your needs.

Pros and cons at a glance

Pros: free to download, no ads listed, no in-app purchases listed, a large install base, and regular updates.

Cons: a 3.3 out of 5 rating suggests mixed experiences, and a minimum of Android 7.0 excludes older devices. Users who prefer a fully offline tool should confirm how the app stores its data before relying on it.

Who is GoWish best suited for?

GoWish - Your Digital Wishlist is most useful for people who want a free, simple place to note items they hope to buy or receive, especially around birthdays, holidays, and other gift-giving occasions.

If you need strong privacy guarantees or a tool that works without an internet connection, read the developer information and reviews first.
