Shop: Track, Pay, Discover

What is Shop: Track, Pay, Discover?

Shop: Track, Pay, Discover is a shopping app for Android published by Shopify Inc. It is listed in the Shopping category on Google Play and is free to download.

With more than 81 million installs, it is one of the more widely installed shopping apps on the platform. Its Google Play rating is 4.4 out of 5 from about 780,000 ratings.

Is Shop: Track, Pay, Discover free, and does it have ads?

The app costs nothing to download. Google Play lists no in-app purchases for it, so there are no paid upgrades or extra items to buy inside the app.

The listing states that the app does not contain ads. That makes it a more predictable experience than many free apps, though you should always check the Google Play page for the latest details.

What's new in version 3.14.0?

The current version is 3.14.0, last updated on 2026-10-22. The developer describes this release as a set of bug fixes and performance improvements aimed at the online shopping experience.

Because the update focuses on fixes and speed rather than new headline features, users should expect refinements to existing behavior. Turning on automatic updates in Google Play is the simplest way to receive new versions as they arrive.

Android requirements and download size

Shop: Track, Pay, Discover requires Android 10 or later. If your phone runs an older version of Android, Google Play will not offer the app for installation.

Google Play lists the app size on the store page, and that figure can change between versions. Check there before installing if storage space is tight on your device.

Pros and cons to consider

On the plus side, the app is free, has no in-app purchases according to its listing, and has a strong install base and a solid average rating. Its developer is an established company and the app receives regular updates.

On the downside, the app requires a relatively recent version of Android, so older devices may be left out. Like any shopping app that handles purchases and personal details, it is worth reviewing the permissions it requests and the privacy information on its Google Play page before signing in.

Who is Shop: Track, Pay, Discover best suited for?

The app suits people who shop online regularly and want a single free app for tracking and paying for purchases on an Android phone running Android 10 or later.

Users with older devices, or those who prefer to avoid any account sign-in or data sharing, may want to look at other options before committing.
