Vinted: Shop & sell pre-loved

What is Vinted: Shop & sell pre-loved?

Vinted: Shop & sell pre-loved is an Android app from the developer Vinted in the Shopping category. It gives people a marketplace for buying and selling pre-owned items, with clothing and fashion being the most common categories people look for.

The app is free to download from Google Play. It has more than 122 million installs, which places it among the more widely used secondhand shopping apps on Android.

How does Vinted: Shop & sell pre-loved work?

Sellers create listings with photos and item details, and buyers browse or search those listings to find something they want. Sales are handled inside the app, so a purchase and its payment stay in one place.

Because the app is built around used goods, listing quality matters. Clear photos, accurate sizes, and honest condition notes help both sides trust each deal.

What's new in version 26.41.1?

Version 26.41.1 is a maintenance update rather than a redesign. The developer describes it as a set of fine-tuning changes meant to keep the app running smoothly and make it a little simpler to use.

Users who want the latest stability and polish should install the update through Google Play. The app was last updated on 2026-10-23.

Android requirements and download size

Vinted: Shop & sell pre-loved requires Android 8.0 or later. Devices running older versions of Android are not supported by the current release.

The exact download size is not listed in the facts available for this overview, so check the Google Play page for the current figure before installing on a device with limited storage.

Is Vinted: Shop & sell pre-loved free, and does it have ads?

The app is free to download and has no in-app purchases. However, it does contain ads, so users should expect advertising while browsing.

Fees that apply to individual transactions are a separate matter from in-app purchases and should be checked within the app before selling or buying.

Pros and cons

On the positive side, the app is free, widely installed, and rated 4.5 out of 5 by more than 2.4 million Google Play users. It offers a way to buy and sell secondhand items without leaving the app.

On the downside, the app shows ads, and as with any secondhand marketplace, item condition and seller reliability vary, so buyers need to read listings carefully.

Who is Vinted: Shop & sell pre-loved best for?

The app suits people who want to save money on clothing and other items, declutter their own wardrobes, or sell pre-owned goods without setting up a separate online shop.

It is less suited to anyone who wants a completely ad-free experience or who needs a device running Android 7 or older.
