What is FreeReels - Dramas & Reels?

FreeReels - Dramas & Reels is an entertainment app for Android, published by SKYWORK AI PTE.LTD. It is listed on Google Play as free to download.

The app has been installed more than 242 million times, and its Google Play rating is 4.7 out of 5 from about 2 million ratings. These figures show wide use, though they do not guarantee how any single user will feel about it.

Is FreeReels - Dramas & Reels free to use?

The app costs nothing to download from Google Play. It is not a paid app.

It does contain ads, and it offers in-app purchases. Ads are how free apps usually earn revenue, and in-app purchases are optional extras bought with real money. Users who want to avoid spending can simply not buy anything, but ads will still appear while using the app.

What's new in version 2.5.01?

Version 2.5.01 adds more drama shorts to the library, which is the main content change in this update.

The release also includes bug fixes and performance improvements. The update was published on 2026-10-23, so installed copies should be updated through Google Play to get these changes.

Device requirements and download size

FreeReels - Dramas & Reels requires Android 8.0 or later. Phones or tablets running older versions of Android will not be able to install it.

Check the storage space on your device before installing. The exact download size is shown on the app's Google Play page and can change between versions.

Pros and cons

Pros: it is free to download, it has a large install base and a high average rating, it receives recent updates, and it runs on a wide range of Android devices from version 8.0 onward.

Cons: ads appear during use, in-app purchases are offered, and the app needs a supported Android version. Users who dislike ads or prefer to pay once for an app with no extras may find these limits frustrating.

Who is FreeReels - Dramas & Reels best for?

The app suits people who want a free entertainment app on Android and do not mind seeing ads. It is a reasonable fit for those who enjoy short-form drama content, given the recent addition of more drama shorts.

Readers who want an ad-free experience, or who prefer to avoid in-app spending, should review the Google Play listing and consider how the ads and purchases will affect them before installing.
