Kingshot

What is Kingshot?

Kingshot is a strategy game for Android, published on Google Play by Century Games PTE. LTD. It sits in the Strategy category, which generally rewards planning, resource management and longer-term decisions over quick reflexes.

The game has been installed more than 60,583,010 times and holds a 4.4 out of 5 rating from 1,633,257 Google Play ratings. Those numbers suggest a large, active player base, though ratings alone do not tell you whether a game suits your taste.

Is Kingshot free to download and play?

Kingshot is free to download from Google Play. The store listing states that it contains no ads, but it does offer in-app purchases.

In-app purchases are optional extras bought with real money. Free games with this model can be played without spending, but players who want to progress faster may be offered paid items. Check the in-app purchase information on the store page before you install, and set a spending limit on your Google account if you want to control purchases.

Android requirements and download size

Kingshot requires Android 7.0 or later. If your phone or tablet runs an older version of Android, the game may not appear as compatible in Google Play.

The store listing does not give a download size in the facts supplied for this overview, so check the listing on your device for the current file size and free storage needed before installing.

What's new in the latest update?

The most recent version was last updated on 2026-10-15. Its main change concerns a fishing event. A new Seaweed Guide unlocks automatically once certain requirements are met. Players who raise their collection progress can earn a limited-time chat skin.

The update also adds a 10x option to Power Cast after a set progress level is reached, and starts the initial Fishing Kit at maximum level. New seasonal missions reward Fishing Points and island decorations. Players who update should expect these event items to be available for a limited period.

Pros and cons of Kingshot

On the positive side, the game is free to download, has a high rating across a very large number of reviews, and receives recent updates. The listing also states that it has no ads.

On the other side, in-app purchases are available, which can create pressure to spend in games of this type. Some event rewards are limited in time, so players who want them may need to keep up with the schedule. Android 7.0 or later is required, which may exclude older devices.

Who is Kingshot best suited for?

Kingshot is likely to appeal to people who enjoy strategy games on Android and do not mind optional purchases. Players who prefer completely offline play or games with no spending options should check the store listing carefully before installing, since this overview does not confirm offline support.

Before downloading, compare the requirements, the in-app purchase notice and the latest update notes with what you want from a strategy game.
