Solitaire Associations Journey

What is Solitaire Associations Journey?

Solitaire Associations Journey is a word game for Android, published by Hitapps Games. It is listed in the Word category on Google Play and combines the familiar feel of solitaire with word-based puzzle play.

The game is free to download and has been installed more than 35 million times, with a Google Play rating of 4.4 out of 5 from about 473,000 ratings.

How does Solitaire Associations Journey work?

Players move through a series of puzzle layouts, using word clues and card-style moves to clear the board. The core loop is simple to start and gets more involved as the levels progress.

Because it is a single-player puzzle game, it suits short sessions as well as longer sittings. Progress is tied to completing levels rather than competing against other people.

What's new in version 1.23.1?

The latest update, dated 2026-10-14, is a maintenance release. The developer reports that bugs were fixed and performance was improved, so the game should run more smoothly than in earlier builds.

The update does not describe major new levels or features, so players expecting a large content addition may find only stability changes.

Requirements, size, and download details

Solitaire Associations Journey requires Android 8.0 or later. Check your device version in settings before installing, especially on older phones or tablets.

The app is downloaded through Google Play. Exact file size is not listed in the details this guide is based on, so check the store page for the current figure and free storage needed.

Is Solitaire Associations Journey free, and does it have ads or in-app purchases?

The game is free to install. It contains ads and also offers in-app purchases, so players should expect advertising during play and optional paid extras.

If ads or purchases are a concern, check the in-app purchase options on the Google Play listing and adjust your device's purchase settings before playing.

Pros and cons

Pros: free to start, a large install base, a solid 4.4 rating, a light puzzle format that is easy to pick up, and regular maintenance updates.

Cons: the game includes ads and in-app purchases, it requires Android 8.0 or later, and the latest update focuses on fixes rather than new content. Players who dislike advertising may find the experience less enjoyable.

Who is Solitaire Associations Journey for?

The game suits people who enjoy casual word puzzles and card-style solitaire, especially those who want quick sessions on a phone. It is less suited to players who want a fully ad-free experience or who use older Android versions below 8.0.
