Booksy Biz: For Businesses

What is Booksy Biz: For Businesses?

Booksy Biz: For Businesses is an Android app from Booksy International sp. z o.o. aimed at beauty-industry professionals who run appointment-based businesses. It is the business-side companion to the Booksy client app, so owners and staff can handle their schedule from a phone rather than a desktop.

The app is listed under the Beauty category on Google Play. It has more than 3,397,886 installs and a Google Play rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 31,757 ratings.

How does the app work for a beauty business?

Once set up, the app centres on the calendar. Owners can view upcoming appointments, adjust bookings, and keep track of what each day looks like across the team.

Because it runs on a phone, it suits solo practitioners and small salons who are often away from a desk. Larger setups may find a tablet or computer more comfortable for detailed admin work, though the app itself is not limited to one device type.

What's new in version 26.10.2200?

The current version is 26.10.2200, last updated on 2026-10-26. The developer describes it as a maintenance release with bug fixes and performance improvements.

No new features are called out in the release notes, so users upgrading from an earlier build should mainly expect a more stable experience. The developer does not list specific fixes, so the exact changes are not detailed here.

Android requirements and download size

Booksy Biz: For Businesses requires Android 8.0 or later. Downloads happen through Google Play, and the app is free to install.

This overview does not include a verified file size, so check the Google Play listing for the current download size and storage needs before installing on an older or low-storage phone.

Is Booksy Biz: For Businesses free, and does it have ads?

The app is free to download. It does not contain ads, according to its Google Play listing. It does offer in-app purchases, so some paid features or add-ons may be available inside the app. Review the purchase options in Google Play before committing to any paid plan.

Pros and cons

Pros: free to download, no ads, a strong community rating across more than 31,000 reviews, and a focus on managing bookings from a phone.

Cons: in-app purchases are available, the app needs Android 8.0 or later, and some owners may prefer a larger screen for detailed work. Features beyond core scheduling are not covered in this overview, so check the listing for specifics.

Who is Booksy Biz: For Businesses best for?

The app suits independent beauty professionals, salon owners, and small teams who want to manage appointments from a phone. Customers booking through the separate client app are not the intended users of this business version.
